Rare event analysis appears to indicate 0.01% of the cells analyzed in the lymphocytic/monocytic/blast area (0.0044% of all 1,356,320 cells in the marrow)are consistent with a phenotype seen on neuroblastoma cells.
There are rare cells that appear to coexpress GD2 and CD34. THe significance of this finding is not known.
Utilizing the 'modified gating method' of analysis shows 0.016% of the cells in the analysis gate representing 0.007% of all cells in the sample to have a phenotype seen on neuroblastoma cells.
